Recipe for great coffee
  1. Use cold, filtered water and a clean machine.
  2. Grind beans just before brewing:
    • Course for coffee press
    • Medium for automatic drip
  3. Measure 2 tbsp (10 g) ground coffee for every 6 fl oz (180 ml) water.

To help preserve that fresh flavor, keep this bag sealed tight in a cabinet (not in the refrigerator) and brew within a week of opening.

The rich complexity of Antigua

In the Antigua Valley of Guatemala, one of the world's most esteemed coffee regions, coffee develops slowly. At altitudes of over 1,525 meters, coffee trees produce dense beans with a remarkable complexity. Floral aromas, lemony flourishes and deep dark cocoa notes combine to create a smooth, versatile brew that pairs with the entire meal, from savoury herb dishes to rich chocolate desserts. Ideal for espresso, coffee press or automatic brewer.

Learn why conditions in Antigua are ideal for coffee cultivation from someone with a family history of growing coffee in Guatemala.
